American Sweetens Investment Offer in JAL

American Airlines (AMR) and its airline alliance partners have sweetened their investment offer to support Japan Airlines to $1.4 billion, as compared to a previous offer of $1.1 billion. Delta Airlines (DAL) and its airline alliance partners have also offered funding to the struggling airline.
