Google Faces Online Library Opposition

A US District Court Judge will hear complaints today over Googles plan to scan millions of books, and create an online library. Publishers, as well as some of Googles corporate competitors have opposed the plan, and the judge will rule on whether a deal Google made with authors complies with copyright laws, or whether Googles agreements could raise antitrust issues.
